On the afternoon of August 12, the overseas practice delegation to Morocco from Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management (Tsinghua SEM) visited the Association for the Economic and Cultural Promotion of Chinese Overseas in Morocco (APECCM) to carry out an overseas social practice discussion and exchange. The delegation was led by two teachers: Liu Qing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Tsinghua SEM, and Guo Xunhua, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Department of Science and Engineering. A total of 17 students, including Tang Sizhe and Zhang Chengwei, participated in this exchange.

At the discussion, Zhang Yashan, President of APECCM, extended a warm welcome to the Tsinghua practice delegation. He introduced to the teachers and students Morocco's local business environment, non-governmental economic and trade exchanges between China and Morocco, the current development situation of Chinese overseas in Morocco, and the various efforts of APECCM in serving overseas Chinese compatriots and advancing China-Morocco economic, trade and cultural exchanges.

The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as opportunities for China-Morocco economic and trade cooperation, Morocco's national economic development strategy, prospects for transnational industrial cooperation, and empowering exchanges between Chinese and foreign youth through overseas Chinese affairs resources. Drawing on their academic expertise, the Tsinghua teachers and students exchanged views with APECCM leaders on the local investment environment, industrial development, and people-to-people and cultural exchanges.
This discussion built a bridge of communication between youth from domestic universities and the Chinese community in Morocco. It not only enabled Tsinghua students to gain an on-the-ground understanding of the realities of economic and trade development in North Africa, but also further deepened APECCM's ties with domestic universities, laying a good foundation for subsequently promoting mutual learning between Chinese and Moroccan youth and two-way economic, trade and cultural exchanges.
