President Zhang Yashan Attends ESCA's "Morocco-China Connection Day" as Invited Guest, Empowering Moroccan Youth's Future with a Cultural Bridge

Recently, Zhang Yashan, President of APECCM, attended the "Morocco-China Connection Day" event at ESCA upon invitation, using the overseas Chinese community as a bridge to join hands with Chinese and Moroccan participants from all walks of life to renew friendship and discuss cooperation.

Liu Chenggang, Cultural Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Morocco, and partners from various sectors attended the event and delivered speeches. At the event, the Association carefully set up a display area, presenting authentic Chinese delicacies such as dumplings, fried noodles, and spring rolls to the guests, whose fresh and delicious flavors instantly bridged the cultural distance. Chen Chaochen, a calligrapher and painter residing in Morocco, and Moroccan calligraphers wrote calligraphy together on stage, expressing sentiments through brush and ink, and creating a calligraphy work that reads "May China-Morocco Friendship Last Forever," allowing the audience to immersively experience the unique charm of traditional Chinese and Moroccan culture.

In his speech, President Zhang Yashan focused on the development trend of China-Morocco cooperation, pointing out that in recent years, China-Morocco relations have developed rapidly, Chinese enterprises' enthusiasm for investing in Morocco has been high, investment fields have continued to expand, and multiple industries such as new energy, automobiles, and textiles have shown strong growth, injecting momentum into Morocco's economic development. At the same time, he highly affirmed the important platform that ESCA has built for China-Morocco cultural exchange and language communication, and encouraged the young students present to cherish the valuable opportunity to learn Chinese at school, using language as a key to deeply perceive and understand China, and to become a bridge and bond for China-Morocco cultural mutual learning and economic and trade cooperation in the future.
