Deepening Jilin-Morocco Agricultural Cooperation and Jointly Promoting Hometown Economic and Trade Development | Delegation from CCPIT Jilin Visits APECCM for Exchange and Discussion

On April 21, Li Jianhua, Vice President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Jilin Provincial Committee and the China Chamber of International Commerce Jilin Chamber of Commerce, led a four-person delegation to Morocco to attend the 18th International Agricultural Exhibition. During the exhibition, the delegation made a special visit to the Association for the Economic and Cultural Promotion of Chinese Overseas in Morocco (APECCM) for exchange and discussion, and President Zhang Yashan warmly received the delegation.

President Zhang Yashan, whose ancestral home is in Northeast China, is deeply concerned about the development of his hometown. During the exchange, he gave a detailed introduction to the Association's organizational structure, operations and development, services for overseas Chinese, and economic and cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, focusing on the Association's achievements in leveraging Morocco's local resource advantages, cultivating the local market, building bridges for communication between China and foreign countries, and facilitating China-Morocco economic and trade exchanges.

Vice President Li Jianhua spoke highly of and fully affirmed APECCM's long-standing dedication to Northeast China and Jilin, and its efforts in actively building bridges and empowering development for its hometown's external exchanges. He pointed out that Jilin Province has a solid agricultural foundation and prominent resource advantages, with a high degree of compatibility with Morocco's agricultural industry and enormous cooperation potential. He hoped that our Association would give full play to its geographical, personal network, and resource advantages in Morocco, continue to serve as a bridge and link for communication between China and Morocco, actively connect supply and demand resources, and promote practical cooperation between Jilin Province and Morocco in modern agriculture, trade in agricultural products, agricultural technology exchanges, and other fields.

Going forward, APECCM will keep in mind its original aspiration and mission, take root locally while staying connected to its homeland, continue to give full play to its platform advantages, actively connect with high-quality resources in Jilin, fully serve the opening-up and development of its hometown, and contribute the strength of the overseas Chinese community to promoting China-Morocco agricultural cooperation and economic and cultural exchanges.
